We've recently been having problems with email getting through to @aol.com addresses due to their systems.

This is partly caused by AOL user's clicking the 'Report As Spam' button in their AOL email software which is great in theory but only if AOL's systems work, which they do not.

Anyone who has an email forwarder setup on our servers which forwards email to an AOL email account SHOULD NOT use AOL's 'Report As Spam' feature. This is because AOL's system is seeing our server as the spamming server when the email has only passed through it on it's way to it's destination (spamming server > sent spam to domain on our server > our server forwarded to aol email address as per this domains email settings).

This has only become apparent since we've been on the whitelists and we get detailed reports through when someone reports spam. Unfortunately we won't be on the whitelist long if this keeps up.

This is clearly a flaw in AOL's system so anyone wishing to continue using the feature should contact them. It would be appreciated if resellers could forward a version of this announcement to their clients.
